omg. just got back from the most amazing concert ever. EVER. it was sooooooo good. String orchestra with no conductor, better even than Orpheus CO last quarter. I wanted to fucking cry they were so amazing. The oboist played the vaughan williams concerto and I decided that I could die happy right then and there. I've never heard such a gorgeous oboe sound, I got the shivers and everything. I was absolutely enthralled, and it's been a long time since a live performance has done that to me.
And apparently when you go to sunday concerts at the wigmore hall, you are treated to a glass of sherry afterwards. For free! This country is awesome.

I spent the afternoon at Camden, exploring various of the markets. Reminded me a lot of venice, actually, only multiplied by about fifty and with more drugs. Twas fun, but now my feet hurt. I think it's time for tea and my giant london book of d00m-- or HBP again, can't decide.

dear cory,

please travel to brighton next weekend for pride. it will be lovely and fun and i want you to experience it, as i cannot. if you tell people from the sussex uni's LGBT float that you are american liz's friend from california, you will have many people randomly scream and ambush you. or not, as they're british. or, they will, as they're gay. (just to go with stereotypes, you know.) hell, they should at least buy you a drink, the cheap bastards. hee.

love,
beth
